soooo ummm ahh whadduppski!?!?Colorado
Matchmaking and just making new friends and sharing a safe space for like minded discussions is great. Since COVID so many of us have lost loved ones, felt isolated. With inflation being through the roof transportation is a problem.
Everyone thinks you're attractive so you must have friends, be in a relationship... but it isn't simple being a newbie in upstate, NY.
Due too everything requiring driving you aren't surrounded by people, sidewalks, life.
While the trees and flowers are lovely you can't converse with them, share your thoughts, aspirations and dreams.
I believe in love as I was surrounded by it with my entire family. However, we had a French/ Italian upbringing and it is , " til death do us part."
This doesn't mean you stay in an abusive relationship either.
Having lost my father a couple of years ago I miss seeing the affection I witnessed so often .
Their wedding picture above their bedrooms, he would kiss her hand, sing to her. He was still in love with his wife after 57 years. She adored hím as well. They worked together, built a business, travelled together. I do believe they were eachothers soulmates.
In College I won a Poetry contest. They showed us a picture of an elderly, very wrinkled couple. We had 5 minutes to write a poem. I wrote this for them.

Love kept us together, it kept us strong
I knew with you is where I belonged
We grew together never a part
You were sent to me to fill my heart
We lived a lifetime, so fast so sweet
I dreamed about you way before I knew we would meet
My heart still beats as you hold my hand
We were sent to this earth and blessed by this land
But one day , " my love ," if we shall no longer be,
I KNEW IT WAS YOU, ALWAYS,
